Hello everyone!
It has been another fun week in Rainbow class.
We have been playing outside, doing some pre-writing practice and talking about Halloween, among other things.

今週もお友達、先生と沢山遊び、学び楽しい一週間を過ごしました。
Playing at the Park 🌲
The weather has been sunny and nice, so we had a wonderful time at the park together.
After walking very nicely with our rope to the park, we first have a nice drink before going over the rules for playing nicely together.
One of the most popular activities at the park is chasing their teachers, or being chased by their teachers! This week, one of the teachers turned into a scary zombie! Oh no! The kids did a good job running away, but eventually started chasing the zombie! The only thing scarier than a zombie is a horde of tiny rainbow monsters!
気持ちの良い天気の中公園に行き沢山体を動かし遊びました。“今日は公園に行くよ”と言うとみんな大喜びです。水分補給をしっかりしつつ時間になるまで夢中で遊んでいました。ゾンビに変身した先生から走って逃げたり、可愛いらしいモンスターに変身したレインボーのお友達がガォーと追いかけてきたりと笑顔と楽しそうな歓声が公園に響いていました。お天気の良い日はお散歩や公園にいき体を動かして過ごしたいと思います。
Gym lesson 🤸♂
We introduced a new exercise in this week’s gym lesson.
This week, we started practicing doing forward rolls. After a nice demonstration by their teacher, it was their turn to try. I’m happy that I saw so many nice rolls! Good job Rainbow!
We also practiced our balance using the mat, as well as using the trampoline.
今週のジムレッスンは前転に挑戦！
先生のお手本を見たときには“わぁーすごい”と歓声があがり、驚くお友達、できるか心配そうなお友達もいましたが、先生に手伝ってもらいながらどのお友達も一生懸命がんばりました。お家でも前転の練習をしてみてください。
最後にみんな大好きなトランポリン、先生の掛け声“ジャンプ、ジャンプ、ストップ”に合わせてトランポリンの上で跳んだり、止まったり！ピッタリ止まれるお友達が増えてきました。来週のジムレッスンも楽しみですね。
Halloween crafts 🎃
It’s October, and everyone in Rainbow is very excited about Halloween!
In celebration of this years most spooky months, we have been doing some fun Halloween crafts.
We made some scary skulls, spooky ghosts and colored a terrifying Halloween picture!
早いもので10月も中旬ですね！10月といえばハロウィンです。
レインボーのお友達も毎日ハロウィンのお話をしています。
今週はハロウィンのクラフトをしました、怖い骸骨やお化けのクルクルモビールを作ったり、ハロウィンの塗り絵をしました。ハロウィンにもってこいの素敵な作品ができました！作品は廊下、玄関に飾ってありますのでご覧ください。
Phonics and Pre-writing practice 📝
This month we will be focusing on the following letters from the alphabet: M, N, O and P.
We take a look at how to sound out the different letters when reading them, and look at flashcards with different examples of each letter. We will also do different exercises to give the students a more active way of learning.
今月はM,N,O and Pにフォーカスをあてて学習しています。
先生と一緒にひとつひとつ確認しながら発音の練習をし、フラッシュカードでM、N、O、Pから始まる単語の絵を見て、スペルを確認し、先生と一緒に発音しています。他にもNから始まる単語は？と考えながらみんなで学習しています。
To prepare for their eventual writing skills, we are continuing to trace lines.
The students who are confident in their tracing skills of the easier patterns have started tracing some letters from the alphabet.
今週のトレーシングはギザギザお山をなぞりました。声にだしup and downと声にだしながらゆっくり丁寧になぞっていきました。難しかったけどがんばりました。クラスの中のお兄さん、お姉さんチームはアルファベットをなぞる練習をしました、こちらもA,Bと声にだしながらゆっくり丁寧になぞっていきました。初めてでしたが上手にできました。
