Hello Aurora and Shooting Star families!

We have had another fun week at ISN!
今週も楽しくISNでの時間を過ごす事が出来ました✨
This week, we started off with a fun gym lesson!
まず、ジムのクラスです！
We started off by stretching our upper and lower bodies, and then started work on the mat.
上半身、下半身のストレッチから始めり、マット運動にはいりました。
Our first activity was to try to sit up from our backs while holding our legs, working our abdominal muscles.
最初の運動は、足を両手で持ち寝た状態から体を起こす運動をしました。💪
Next we performed a forward roll, using those same abdominal muscles. Everyone was even able to perform two rolls as well!
その後は、先ほどの寝た状態から起き上がる運動を元に、 前転をしました。
Then we rolled sideways along the mat, making sure to keep our arms and legs straight.
その後は、“サツマイモ”です。両手、両足を伸ばしてマットの端から端までゴロゴロと転がりました。✌😎✌
Finally we did a series of exercises using the pull-up bar.
そして、お待ちかねの鉄棒の運動をしました。
First we held up our legs from touching the floor of the mat. Then we tried to hold ourselves high above the bar, using our arm muscles. Finally we hung from the bar upside down, keeping our feet on the bar and making sure not to fall off!
最初に、足を地面から離し持ち上げました。そしてその持ち上げていた足を鉄棒より高く伸ばしました。最後に上下逆さに吊ら下がり落ちないようにお腹に力を入れました。💪💪💪
Everyone worked well, and burned a lot of energy!
みなさん、よく頑張りましたね、エネルギーを沢山燃やす事が出来ました。
Also this week we had another fun UOI lesson!
楽しいUOIのレッスンもしました。
We are finishing up our third line of inquiry, “Making Art”.
３つ目の line of inquiry, “Making Art”についてです。📚
This week we decorated our class Christmas tree!
今週はクリスマスツリー🎄にデコレーションをしました。✨
We had drawn a large Christmas tree on a large piece of paper, and for this activity, students decorated the tree!
予め用意してある大きな紙📜にツリーが描かれていたので、好きなデコレーションをクレヨン🖍で描きました。
First we reviewed the different colors and shapes we had learned, as well as learning the names of different ways of drawing lines.
まず、色んなもの形について復習をしました。〇▲□💖♢
Next we discussed some common things people put on Christmas trees, such as bells, lights and angels.
次にツリーに通常飾る物について話合いました。🔔🔦👼
And finally, we combined all of this knowledge to decorate our tree – in the process making a lovely tree, which we will put the finishing touches on at a later date!
最後に、クラスみんなでアイディアを出し合い、１つの素敵なツリー🎄を完成させました。廊下に飾ってあるので、ぜひご覧ください😍💖⛄
