Aurora, Shooting Starのみなさん、こんにちは🙂✨
We have had another fun week at ISN.
今週も楽しくISNで過ごす事ができました🎉
We recently had our first snow of the Winter, which meant we had the chance to play in the snow!
今年初めての雪が降り外で遊ぶことができました。⛄
First we piled up some snow into an igloo shape, which was even big enough for students to fit into!
そして、みなさんが中に入れる大きさのかまくらを完成させました😁✌
Students had fun shoveling the snow, building snowmen, making snow angels and even throwing snowballs at their teachers.
雪かき、雪だるま作り⛄、スノーエンジェル作りそして雪合戦と長野の冬らしい遊びができました❄☃⛄
Thankfully students had the appropriate ski and snow clothes, which allowed everyone to experience the snow in the best possible way!
保護者の皆様にご用意頂いたスノーウェアのお陰で、思いっきり雪で遊ぶことが出来ました。😁✨

We are already looking forward to our next snow day!

For our Unit of Inquiry lessons this week, we started the process of assessing what are students have learned during our third line of inquiry “Creating Art” lessons.
今週のUOIのレッスンでは３つ目の line of inquiry “Creating Art” のテストをしました。
During these lessons, we learned about the different ways of making art, including using colours, lines and shapes.
３つ目の line of inquiry “Creating Art” の授業ではアートを探究し、その際、物の色、線や形を学んできました。
Students completed a worksheet which asked them to draw as many shapes as they could.
“Draw as many shapes as you can”と言うワークシートを使用してテストをしましたね✎
All of the students were able to name the most well-known shapes, such as circle, triangle and square.
ほとんどのお友達は〇▲□と言ったよく目にする形を描く事が出来ました❣
The older students were also able to draw more complex shapes, such as pentagons, cylinders and trapezoids.
大きいお友達は、五角形、円柱、台形と言った難しい形まで描く事が出来ましたね👀
Also, the class teachers performed an observation of the way in which our students behaved during free play.
自由時間には先生が皆さんがどのようにお友達と遊ぶ様子を見学しました。🔍
We had previously learned in our other lines of inquiry about emotions, and the correct ways of dealing with our emotions.
このユニットでEmotionについて以前探究した。そして成果を沢山見ることが出来ました。🙂😍😁😥😴😡
Students have made great progress in the way they act with their friends and teachers, and our teachers were able to note down some specific examples of the way in which students showed their positive attitudes.
お友達や先生の気持ちを考えて、優しい言葉をかけれるようになりましたね❣ 成長の記録としてしっかりメモしておきましたよ🧧🖍
Everyone did a great job in the week leading up to Christmas!
