Hello everyone!
We have had yet another wonderful week here in our Rainbow class!
It’s a new month, and that means we have a new monthly topic we will be focusing on. This month’s topic will be family. So, we will talk about what kind of family members there are, and which ones we have.

あっという間に2月です！今月も楽しく学び、遊んでいきたいと思います。
そして今月は家族について学びます。家族についてみんなでお話をしていきたいと思います。
Outside play 🌞
There is always a lot of excitement when I ask the students if they want to play outside. And this week, we were lucky to play outside in some nice sunny weather.
There was even a little snow left in one half of the schoolyard! We always bring out our speaker, so that we can dance and sing together too.
外遊びができる日をいつも心待ちにしている子ども達！“今日は外で遊ぶ？”といつも聞いてきます。今日は外遊びだよ！と伝えると身体全体を使い喜びを表現してくれます。今週はお天気が良く、いつもより暖かい日もありました、外で遊んでる時は暑い！！とジャケットを脱ぐお友達もいました。日陰に少し残ってる雪、氷で遊んだり、ダンス、歌を歌ったりと外で体を沢山動かし、お友達と楽しい時間を過ごしました。
Birthday party 🎂
At the end of last week, we had our monthly birthday party.
The kids all gathered as we celebrated the birthday of two of our big brothers!
We did a short interview, sang the happy birthday song and gave them a birthday card. Happy birthday!
先週の金曜日にお誕生日会がありました！レインボークラスからは2名のお友達がお誕生日を迎え3歳になりました。先生からインタビューを受け、お誕生日の歌をみんなで歌いお祝いしました。少し緊張、恥ずかしそうでしたがバースデーカードを受け取った時にはビックスマイルを見せてくれ、嬉しそうにお友達にカードをみせてくれました。
Reading is fun 📖
Between activities we often have time for our young learners to choose a book and read. If multiple kids want to read the same book, they have to nicely ask their friends: “Let’s read together”.
活動と活動の合間に本を読む時間があります。好きな本を自分で選び座って読みます、もしお友達と同じ本が読みたい！一緒に読みたい時は“lets read together”と言いお友達とシェアーします。
