Our new school year has started and we welcomed our new radiant and fiery Shooting Star kids. The weather this week was mostly sunny, as if the sun welcomed our kids too. And to enjoy the welcoming week, we had so much fun playing with our friends outside and inside the classroom.

晴れやかな笑顔、元気いっぱいの12人のお友達と一緒にShooting Starクラスが始まりました！お兄さん、お姉さんになり、新しいクラスにワクワク、ドキドキしている子どもたち。１年間みんなで楽しく、元気に過ごしていきたいと思います。今年度もよろしくお願い致します。
今週は、お天気が良く太陽が子どもたちを歓迎してくれてるかの様に気温もグッと上がり晴れの日が続きました🌤お天気に恵まれ公園に行ったり、園庭で遊んだりと室内外でお友達と楽しくたくさん遊ぶ事ができました。
For our craft activity, we decorated our craft folder with shooting stars. We were able to practice cutting and coloring. We also did our hand prints for our class rules.
今週のクラフトは、クラフトフォルダーとハンドプリントをしました。
クラフトフォルダーには個々で制作した流れ星を飾り、出来上がるまでの工程では色の塗りかた、はさみの練習もできました☆丁寧にゆっくりと上手にはさみを使う事ができる様になってきています。
ハンドプリントでは、大きな紙にみんなの手形を押し、そこにクラスで話あったクラスルールを張り付けました✋
In every classroom, we need to have our rules. We understand that making and following rules are important. We know that our rules will keep us safe and make us happy. We decided of our classroom rules. Those are the following: (1) We are nice to others. (2) We use polite words. (3) We listen to one another. (4) We follow our teacher’s directions the first time. (5) We help keep our classroom clean. (6) We raise our hands to talk. (7) We play safely. (8) We keep our hands and feet to ourselves.
各クラスにクラスルールがあるようにShooting starでもクラスルールについてみんなで考えお話をしました。ルールを守る、知ることにより、安全で楽しく毎日を過ごす事ができますね😊

For our Morning Circle, we sing the following songs to say hello and do some exercise.

We sing Try Everything from the movie Zootopia for our monthly song. Since it’s the beginning of the school year, we want to try everything even though we make mistakes, just like what the song says, “Nobody learns without getting it wrong. I won’t give up, I won’t give in.” Let’s try everything!

新しいクラスになり初めての経験もたくさんありますが、間違いを恐れずにどんどん挑戦していきましょう！
この歌詞にもあるように、”みんな失敗から学ぶ、決して諦めない、決して負けない”お友達みんなで色々な事に挑戦していきたいと思います。
