Hello Everyone!
It’s Autumn season, it’s slowly getting cooler by the day and we’ve been having fun playing outdoors and going to the park.
UOI 3
In class this week we introduced a new Unit or UOI 3 (Unit of Inquiry). Our Central Idea: I can express my feelings. Our LOI’s (Line of Inquiry) are LOI 1 (Line of Inquiry): What are feelings? LOI 2 (Line of Inquiry): How do you express your feelings?
As an introduction we looked at our UOI wall discussed what is written, looked at the images and learned some new words related to our unit.
We also got to meet our new feeling friends called the ‘Kimochis’.
In the next 3 months from October – December. We will get to know more about them…what they look like, feel like, sound like. We will learn how to express our feeling friends the ‘kimochis’. We will learn how to hold our ‘Kimochis’ and How its best to share our ‘Kimochis’. So do watch out for more updates on our new UOI journey.
This October we have new songs and videos that we play and watch in class. kindly check them out at home and enjoy watching or listening to them with the kids.
Outside Playtime / Park
The weather’s been great now a days that we can have lots of playtime outside whether it’s in the school playground or at the nearby park.
DANCE
Lots of exercise, movement and fun. The kids burn a lot of their energy during dance lessons.
