Hello everyone!
It has been another exciting week here in Rainbow class.
This week we welcomed a new student to the class!
ISN長野キャンパス、レインボークラスの保護者の皆さま、こんにちは！
今月より新しいお友達が加わりパワーアップしたレインボークラスです。
At the end of last week, we had our monthly birthday party!
We didn’t have any birthday kids in Rainbow class, but we joined the celebrations for one of the Aurora students! She got a crown, did a short interview, and got a birthday card!
Then we all sang happy birthday.
先週、８月生まれのお友達の誕生日パーティーがありました。
オーロラから１名お誕生日を迎えたお友達がいました。
みんなでお誕生日の歌を歌い、担任の先生から素敵なバースデーカードをもらい、
笑顔と笑い声が沢山のとても楽しい時間となりました。
We returned to the park for the first time in a few months, and it was the first time for a couple of our new students! Everyone did a great job carefully walking while holding our walking rope on the way to the park. At the park, the students had fun using the swings, running around, climbing or sliding down the slide.
今週は久しぶりに公園まで遊びに行きました。公園に初めて行くお友達もいましたが、どのお友達も
先生とのお約束を守りながら公園まで歩くことができました。
公園を走り回ったり、ブランコをしたり、すべり台をしたりしてたくさん体を動かし、
楽しい時間を過ごしました。
Gym class this week was very special.
It was the first week with ISN teacher as their gym teacher!
They all had a lot of fun and did a great job.
They started of by doing their usual stretches and warm up.
Next they continued to practice jumping, rolling and walking across the mat, as well as jumping on and of the vaulting box.
今週は、スクールの先生がジムレッスンをしてくれました。
先生のお話をしっかり聞き、まずはストレッチ！
それからマットの上でゴロゴロ（おイモさん）、上手にうさぎさんになってジャンプ！
みんな色々な動きにチャレンジし、楽しそうに参加していました。
This week it was time for another exciting swimming lesson.
We started of by doing some stretches and taking a shower before entering the pool.
Once we were in the pool, we started by splashing around with our feet and hands.
Next the kids jumped sideways while holding the edge of the pool.
We then crawled in the water to the end of the platform and jumped of it to the teacher.
Everyone also had a lot of fun collecting balls and putting them in a basket the teacher was holding, and collecting stickers from one end of the platform and sticking them to a float on the other end.

今週は、レインボークラスのスイミングレッスンがありました。
プールサイドにつかまりバタ足の練習！みんなとても上手です。
ボールを拾って先生の持っているカゴに入れたり、色々な食べ物のカードを選びボードに張り付けたりと
とても楽しいスイミングレッスンになりました。
どのお友達もお水を怖がることなく積極的にレッスンに参加する事ができました。
After that, we had a fun music lesson! We started by listening to our teacher, who called out from a list of cards we had. When we heard a name, we would hold up the matching card, and sing a little song. Next we listened for specific bits of music, and depending on which one we heard, we would pretend to become a baby, or a grandma/grandpa. Everyone listened very well, and didn’t make any mistakes!
今週も楽しいリトミックがありました。
先生の持ってるカードと同じカードを探して、探せたら先生とカード合わせ、腕を高く上げてぶどう、バナナと
揺らしながらみんな大きな声で言えました。
先生のピアノの音に合わせて、赤ちゃん(ハイハイ）、おばあさん、おじいさん(腰を曲げて杖をつく）に変身！
可愛い赤ちゃん、おじいさん、おばあさんに変身できました。
Finally, we started using a small timer in class. We used the timer to let us know how long we had to play with a toy, or do an activity. After the time was up, we would switch with a friend. Everyone shared their toys very well, and there were no hard feelings when it came time to switch partners!
タイマーを使い、
お片付けの時間まであと何分？などと時間を設定し、音がなったら速やかに次の行動に移せるようになっています。
おもちゃのシェアにもとても役に立っています！タイマーをセットし、音がなったら交代だよと説明すると、
お友達と“どうぞ” “ありがとう”とおもちゃのシェアも上手にできています。
