Hello Aurora families!
We have had another fun week at ISN.
ISN長野キャンパスAuroraクラスの保護者の皆さま、こんにちは。今週の様子をお伝えします。
This week we had Parent-Teacher Meetings.Thank you to everyone that was able to attend.
まずは今週はお忙しい中保護者面談にご来校いただきまして誠にありがとうございました。
We started off the week with a Rugby gym lesson. After stretching our bodies, we played a passing game as a class. 4 students stood in the middle of the room back to back. The other 4 students stood opposite one of these students, and passed the ball to them. Once they had completed and recieved a pass from their partner, the students on the outside would rotate, so that everyone would pass to each other. After some time had passed, we swapped students on the outside with students from the inside. After that, we worked on ball-handling. We set out some hula hoops, and students had to run with balls in hand through each hula hoop. We tried to go as fast as we can, but made sure we touched each hula hoop. Finally we tried to catch some long passes from our teacher. Everyone is getting excited to play Rugby outside soon!
今週のジムレッスンには、ラグビーテイストを加えてみました。まずはパスの練習（ボールの投球捕球）です。相手を変えながらパスの練習をした後は、ボールハンドリングに挑戦。ボールを持ったままフラフープをくぐって走りました。先生からのロングパスキャッチまで練習しました。ボールを追って走ることを楽しんだAuroraさん、今度は外でやりたいですね！
Next we had our second Pianica music lesson. We started off by identifying pictures starting with Do Re and Mi from groups of three pictures in our teacher’s book. After this, we practised recognizing these sounds through flashcards our teacher held up. Next, we got out our pianicas. Some students had not used them before, so we learned how to get them out of their cases, and how to set up the hose. We learned where the “Do” note was, and practised playing it several times using our dominant hand’s thumb. Finally, we learned how to put away our pianicas back into their cases. Thank you to everyone that brought their pianicas recently, we are looking forward to everyone being able to learn how to play!
ミュージックでは2回目の鍵盤ハーモニカのレッスンです。ドレミの場所を絵で確認してから、今回初めてのお友達もいたので鍵盤ハーモニカをケースから出す練習をしました。Doの音を右手親指で音を出す練習です。最初は指で押してド・ド・ド、と音を出していた子も、お友達が指を動かさずに息の吹き方を変えてド・ド・ド、と出すのをみて二つの音の出し方があることに気付き、みんなタンギング様に音を出すことができました！2回目ですごいですね♪最後は布でホースを拭いてケースに上手にしまいました。保護者の皆さまには、鍵盤ハーモニカをご用意いただきまして、ありがとうございました。ケースの中にガーゼハンカチの大きさの布が入っていないお子様には、ガーゼハンカチを持たせていただけますようお願いいたします。
Finally we had another animal-themed lesson. This time we looked at Pets – what are they, and what are some examples. After naming many animals, and investigating which we could classify as pets, we decided to create some class pets for our classroom. Students worked in groups of 3, and first decided what kind of animal they wanted to make. Using recycled materials, we glued, cut and attached different materials together to create our class pets. Finally we discussed what kind of care we need to give our animals, and will make sure we take care of them daily!
今週は、地球はみんなで共有しているのだというテーマの探究で、ペットについてのレッスンをしました。動物の名前を挙げ、どれがペットになるか考えたあと、グループごとにクラスのペットを箱やゼリー容器などの再利用マテリアルを使って作りました。５つほどのペットが出来上がり、教室のどこに住まわせるか、どんな世話をしたらいいか、どんな餌をあげるかを話し合いました。みんなすぐに名前を覚え、Auroraさんの仲間に入れてくれました。毎日お世話をしていきたいと思います。
