Hello Aurora and Shooting Star families!
We have had another fun week at ISN!
This week we were very lucky, and we got to start our swimming lessons!
今週からスイミングのレッスンが始まりました！
First, we boarded the bus to the pool. We sat very nicely, and made sure to speak as much English as we could on the bus!
バスにてプールへ行ました。バスの中ではきちんシートベルトをして座り、沢山英語でお話をしました。
Once we got to the pool, we sanitized our hands and changed into our bathing suits.
到着すると、手を除菌し水着に着替えをしました。
After we changed, our instructors took attendance and led us in stretching our bodies.
着替えた後は、プールの先生が出席をとり、ストレッチをしました。
Once we had finished stretching, we entered the pool area and showered our bodies.
Next it was time to get into the pool!
そして、プールにイン！！！
We had two swimming lessons, with our two classes splitting into two groups based on their class.
プールはAuroraとShooting Starでクラスを分けて授業を行いました。
Aurora class worked on getting used to being in the swimming pool. Some students haven’t really been swimming that much, so our instructors helped them become confident and not scared of getting wet. Aurora practiced crossing the pool and gathering plastic balls, rings and stickers.
Auroraのクラスは水に慣れる事を目的とし授業を行いました。お友達によってはこんなに長くプールに入るのは初めてという子いましたね。先生は水は怖くない事をゲームをしながら教えてくれました。プールの中を歩いたり、プールの中でステッカーやボールを集めて水の中で体がどのように動くのかを体感しながら遊びました。
Shooting Sar is older, and more confident in the water. Shooting Star practiced keeping their heads underwater for longer periods of time, crossing the pool underwater, and learning proper swimming hand placement, for example putting our hands together straight in front of our bodies when swimming.
Shooting Starのお友達はプールの経験と言う事もあり、水を怖がりませんでしたね。そして、アクティティとして、手を水の中へ入れて潜りプールの中を歩きました。その後手をで繋ぎ体を浮かせて泳ぐ練習もしました。
Once we had finished all of our activities, it was time to shower our bodies once more, get changed, and thank our instructors .
授業が終わると、シャワーをして着替えそして、先生にご挨拶をして終わりました。
Finally, we took the bus back to school!
そして、再びバスに乗り、スクールに戻りました！
Everyone did a great job, and looked very happy while in the water!
みなさん、よく頑張りましたね！そして、水の中ではとても楽しそうでしたよ！
We are already looking forward to our next swimming lessons!
