We have had another fun week at ISN!
今週もISNでは楽しいアクティビティをしました。⭐✨
We started the week with another UOI lesson!
今週のUOIのレッスンは…👀
Our Transdicplinary theme is “How we express ourselves”, our Central Idea is “We can show our feelings in different ways” and we are now on our third line of inquiry, “Creating Art”.
探究テーマは “How we express ourselves” です。セントラルIdeaは “We can show our feelings in different ways” です。そして今週より３つ目の line of inquiry の “Creating Art”のレッスンに入りました。
In order to associate art with emotions, we first had a discussion about how colours can portray feelings, as well as create feelings in us.
line of inquiry 3の “Creating Art” 🎨🖌と 探究テーマは “How we express ourselves” を連携させるためにまず、色を見たときのインスピレーションや何を思い浮かべるか話し合いました。🙄💭
We discussed the roles of the Primary colours, specifically Red, Blue, Yellow, White and Black, as well as the feelings they create and are associated with.
そして原色(赤、青、黄色、白、黒)のルールも話合いました。
Students enjoyed naming different objects of these colours, as well as learning about the different emotions they can convey.
クラスの中を見渡し、何がどの色であるかを積極的に発言する事が出来ましたね😉太陽は黄色くて暖かく感じ🌞、青は氷や水の色で寒く感じますよね。🌊
Also Shooting Star class started working on the Set for our Christmas Show!
Shooting Starのお友達はクリスマスショーのセットの作成をしました🎨
We are performing Little Red Riding Hood, so the students had the opportunity to use paint to create some of the scenery for the show!
劇の赤ずきんちゃんのシーンで使うアルものをみんなで手分けして色塗りをしました。クリスマスショーをご覧いただける方は楽しみにしていてくださいね😍✨
Everyone is learning a great deal about colours, and in our next lessons we will be learning about Secondary colours!
皆さんUOIのレッスンで得た知識をしっかりアートで表現出来ましたね☆彡次回のUOIのレッスンでは ２次色 について学んで行きます🎨
Also this week we had more fun swimming lessons!
今週はスイミングのレッスンもありました。🏊♂️
Aurora class is becoming more confident in the water!
Auroraさんは先生につかまって泳ぐ自信がどんどんついて来ましたね😊
They are now able to be pulled by their teacher through the water, as well as guided along the pool using a series of pool noodles.
水の中でみんなでチューブにつかまり、先生に引っ張られて足を伸ばして蹴伸びの状態でリラックスする事も出来るようになりました!
Work continues on putting their heads and faces underwater for longer periods of time, which is still a scary prospect occasionally.
これからは水の中で長い時間顔をつけられるように頑張りましょうね✨
Shooting Star class is very comfortable in the water, so work now involves swimming interdependently for longer periods of time.
Shooting Starのお友達はさすが１年大きい事もあり、水の中でもへっちゃらです🏊♂️🏊♂️🏊♂️🌟
The teachers sometimes pull the students underwater through the pool, while also having the students propel themselves forward through the water.
コーチがたまに泳いでいるお友達を後ろに引っ張ったりしましたが、みなさん自分でどんどん先に進んでいくことが出来ます💪😁
Also this week the Shooting Star students worked on jumping into the water, which is still a daunting task to some students.
そしてなんと飛び込みの練習までしました。まだイメージする飛び込みの形にはなっていないかもしれませんが、怖がることもなくチャレンジする事が出来ました🌊🏊♀️
Everyone had a great swimming lesson, thank you for always bringing your swimming bags!
みなさん楽しいスイミングのレッスンが出来ましたね✨そして水泳バッグを毎回忘れずに持って来て下さりありがとうございます。
