Spring, a lovely reminder of how beautiful change can truly be. Rainbow are getting used to their daily routines and new changes at ISN Nagano day by day, step by step.

暖かな春の陽気と共に、新年度のスタートを切り、早いもので1週間が経ちました。毎日お友達、先生達と過ごす中で少しずつスクールの生活にも慣れてきてるように感じます。まだ子供たちのドキドキはおさまりませんが、一人一人のペースを大切にしながら，共に成長できるよう、今年度もワクワク思いっきり楽しんでいきたいと思います。
For today’s news, we present you the craft lesson & outdoor safety walk practice!
今週は、春のクラフト、園庭遊び、お散歩の練習をみんなで楽しくしました。
As for this week, we had our very first seasonal craft lesson! The theme is Cherry blossom & Easter Eggs! Each one of them decorated their very own spring tree with cherry blossom flowers & colorful eggs. This activity has fostered our Rainbow angels with the knowledge of Spring’s flowers and Easter day. There is no better way than getting their hands on and learn practically. Creativity is an important aspect of learning! In this activity, they take turn to use the glue sticks, learning to share with one another. Rainbow were satisfied and had fun in the craft lesson!
今年度最初のクラフトは、木、桜、イースターエッグを使用した春らしい製作から始まりました。先生の説明を聞いて後に桜。イースターエッグを想像を働かせ１つ１つ思い思いにのりを使い木に貼りてけていきます。のりはお友達と一緒に使用する為、順番に使う事を学びます。どのお友達もしっかりシェアすることができましたね。順番を待ってる間は、何処に貼ろうかと考えながら桜やイースターエッグを色々な場所に置いている姿もみられました。出来上がった作品を笑顔でお友達、先生に見せてくれました。春らしい素敵な作品は廊下に飾ってありますので是非ご覧ください。
“Walking, walking, walking, walking.”
As the walking song is being sung, the Rainbow begin to move forward in pairs, face the front and be watchful to their surroundings. The Rainbow had their first practice walking with rope this week, as the safety of our angels is our top priority. Practice to walk with safety guidelines is crucial in our daily lives, we protect ourselves and others.
Rainbow did their best in following the instructions below:
Walk in pair, face and follow the lead teacher. “Do not touch or pick up anything along the road”, “Watch out for the vehicles, stop if you see them coming ” “Hand’s up when crossing the road” and “Walking in line”.
That’s all for the first walking practice, you all did a Marvelous Job! We will continue the practice next time, we can’t wait to go to the park with you all one day! They studied hard, and played hard too. Rainbow ran to the playground instantly after our teacher declares “It’s PLAY TIME!”. See you next week!
ぽかぽか陽気の中レインボーのお友達は、お散歩ロープを使いお散歩の練習を園庭でしました。お友達とペアーになりロープを握り、前をむいてゆっくり並んで歩きます。歩いてる途中、物に触ったり拾ったりしない、車、自転車に気をつけ、近ついてきたら止まり端によって通り過ぎるのを待つ、横断歩道では左右を確認し手を上げて渡る！など１つ１つ確認し周りに注意しながら安全に歩けるように練習をしました。ルールを守り、自分、お友達を守る。初めてのお友達が多い中、みんな一生懸命がんばりました。引き続き練習をしていきたいと思います。みんなでお散歩や公園に行く日が待ち遠しいですね。
練習の後は、みんなが楽しみにしている園庭遊び！先生の掛け声と共に一斉に走り出すレインボーのお友達！すべり台、砂場、ボール遊びとみんなで楽しい時間を過ごしました。
