We have had another great week at ISN!
今週の活動の様子をお伝えします！
At the start of this week, we had another fun park trip! We were lucky and had some amazing weather, so everyone was very happy from the start. When we arrived, we were lucky to play with some children from another school for a short while. We enjoyed playing on the playground, and chasing our teachers, as well as being chased by our teachers. We even got to go on the slide with our teachers sometimes! Aurora was also setting a great example for their younger friends by walking very safely and calmly to and from the park. Thank you everyone, and keep up the great work!
今週も公園へ遊びに行きました！お天気もとてもよく、みんな元気にスクールから出発です。公園では、幸運なことに、他の園のお友達と遊ぶ時間が少しありました。追いかけっこをしたり遊具で遊んだりとたのしい時間を過ごしました。先生と滑り台で滑るたのしい場面も！公園への行き帰りでは、落ち着いて安全に歩く姿を見せることで、小さいお友達の良い例となることができました。また公園へ楽しく出かけましょうね！
Next up we had a very special Halloween Gymnastics lesson! We started off by stretching our zombie limbs. After that we jogged around the classroom, while being chased by a witch. Next we walked a plank as pirates, while being bombarded by cannonballs from our teacher. Then we practised keeping a balloon Dragon egg in the air with our classmates, making sure it did not touch the ground. Finally, we ran a gauntlet around the classroom, first stealing a witches’ potion, and then dropping it off at our house on the way back. Happy active Halloween everyone!
今週のジムレッスンでは、特別なハロウィンレッスンがありました。まずはゾンビになってストレッチから始め、次は魔女に追いかけられながら、教室の中をジョギングしました。そして平均台のような細い台の上を、海賊になりきり大砲をよけながら歩き、そのあとはドラゴンの卵に見立てた風船を落として割らないようにパスし合いました。最後は、魔女の魔法の薬を盗んで逃げ、そして反撃を恐れて魔法の薬を捕まらないように返しに行く、という挑戦をしました。跳び箱の障害物を軽々と乗り越え、命からがら戻ってくる挑戦にどの子も大興奮し「もっとやりたい！」の大合唱。たのしいハロウィンレッスンとなりました！
Finally, we had another fun music lesson. We started off with clapping using our fingers. First, we would listen to, and mimic our teacher by ourselves. Then, we would practise with our partners, using the same rhythm. After that we practised more musical instruments for our Christmas Show. We enjoyed making music using our jingly bells and our castanets. Finally, we finished off by singing London Bridge is Falling Down, sometimes going quickly around the room, other times going slow – but always going down into our hula hoops once we heard the final line. Great job Aurora!
最後はリトミックの様子です。これまで練習してきた、お友達と指を合わせるところから始めます。先生の真似をしたり、先生の出す音と同じ回数指を合わせたりします。耳で聞く、数を数える、友達の指をよく見る、リズムよく指を動かす、という難しい動きに、果敢に挑戦するオーロラさん。だんだんできるようになり、最後には上手にトントントン、と指と指がタッチできました。クリスマスショーに向けて、すずとカスタネットも練習しました。今週は初めて、音を出す、と休む、を経験しました。４拍の中で、音を出すところと休むところを○と×で書いてあるのを練習です。最初は「休む」が難しかったのですが、音を出さないときは叩く方の手（右）を楽器から離す、ということを教えてもらい、終わりにはいくつかのパターンの４拍リズムで揃った音を出すことができました。ロンドン橋の歌の速さに合わせてフラフープを持って走り、歌が終わったらフープの中に座る！このいつもの活動も、みんな楽しく動けました。
