Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful summer vacation!
It was great seeing all the smiling Rainbow students faces again!
お盆の長いお休みが明けましたが、みなさま楽しいお休みを過ごされたのではないでしょうか。
レインボークラスのお友だちの輝く笑顔をまた見ることができ、とても嬉しいです！
It’s been a while since we have had our last swimming lesson, so everyone was very excited to go to the pool! The rainbow student worked hard and did a great job following the teacher’s instructions!
今週は、久しぶりのスイミングレッスンがあり、心を躍らせてプールへと向かいました！
先生のお話をよくきいて体を動かし、ブランクも全く感じさせないほど。楽しく活動ができました。
We also had fun playing outside in the school yard.
The students mixed sand and water together and made different shapes with the sand.
お庭での遊びはまた楽しいものとなりました。
水遊びにもなれ、顔に水がかかることも恐れず自分からシャワーに近づいていけるようになりました。
砂と水を混ぜていろいろな形になることを楽しんだり、中にはセミとお友だちになる子も！
おもちゃの共有をすることも、上手に学んでいます。
In gym class this week we practiced doing a forward roll.

ジムレッスンでは、前転を練習しました!
足で蹴り出す練習はカエルとび。お友だちみんなとても上手です。
体の重さを両手で支えてぐるりんぱ！ができる日はそう遠くはありません！
Everyone had a great time during music class.
We had fun walking in rhythm to the music with hula hoops, shaking a rope and learning about different shapes!
ミュージックのクラスでは、今週も楽しくトントントン！
フラフープを使いリズムに合わせて歩いたり、ロープを振りあってみたり、いろいろな形を学びました。
The theme for august is fruits!
We have been learning about different fruits by playing with different fruit cards.
The children have also been practicing saying “I like something” and “I don’t like something”. For example, “I like strawberries” or “I don’t like pineapples”.
8月のテーマは果物です。
果物の絵が描いてあるカードを使って果物の名前を学んできました。
カードを使うときは「私は〇〇が好きです(ex. “I like strawberries.”)」「私は〇〇が好きではないです(ex. “I don’t like pineapples.”)」と言う練習もしていて、お友だちみんな上手に言うことができます！
Some of the aurora students made a very special afternoon snack for the students on one of the days this week. Chocolate covered marshmallows!
今週の午後のおやつには、夏の思い出にとオーロラクラスのお友だちが作ってくれたスペシャルスナックを食べました。
レインボークラスのお友だちはワクワクして食べ、そんなレインボークラスの姿を見たオーロラクラスのお友だちはその笑顔に満面の笑み。「レインボーのお友だち、笑顔をありがとう！」
