Hello everyone!
みなさん、こんにちは！
It has been another fun week in our Rainbow class. We had our first music lesson, made some cherry blossom trees, practiced walking outside holding the rope, and had fun chasing bubbles outside.
今週も楽しい一週間になりました。初めてのmusic lessonに桜のクラフト、お散歩の練習、園庭遊びなどをしました。
Cherry blossom crafts 🌸
We are in the middle of spring, and what’s more iconic in Japanese spring than cherry blossom. We used our fingers to paint our own trees. Everyone had a lot of fun using their fingers. Some stamped their fingers to the papers, while others preferred to draw using their fingers. Some even started using their whole hand! But at the end of the day, we are left with 8 wonderful and original cherry blossom trees.
日本の春といえば桜ですよね！今回は絵の具を使って指でちょんちょんと桜の花を画用紙につけていきました。指を筆の代わりに桜を描く子もいれば、手のひら全体を使ってダイナミックな桜吹雪のように仕上げる子もいました。個性溢れる8本の桜の木が出来上がりました！
Bubbles and walking practice! 🚶♀️
We starting practicing walking while holding a rope this week. In order to be able to walk to the park, everyone have to show that they can walk safely while holding the rope. We walk around inside our school yard, and even venture out to the parking lot when we do our practice. Our students will soon be ready for the park if they can keep walking like we have done during practice.
お散歩に行く練習をしました。お散歩に行くときはロープを持って安全に歩かなくてはなりません。園庭で歩く練習をして、駐車場も歩きました。もう少し練習をしたら公園までお散歩に行けそうです。
We have also been enjoying the nice weather outside too. The teachers brought some soap bubbles out and let the kids chase them around. It was a bit windy, so they had to be fast to catch the bubbles floating around. Luckily, we have some strong and fast kids in Rainbow!
天気が良かったので、園庭遊びも楽しんでいます。少しだけ風のある日にシャボン玉を飛ばすと、子供たちは夢中になってシャボン玉を捕まえようと追いかけていました。
Music lesson 🎵
We had our first music lesson this week! The lesson started with the teacher introducing herself to the students. She also had a toy microphone that she used to ask the kids what their name was.
Then we had fun using colorful scarves. We would sway them around as the teacher was playing music on the piano. Then, we scrunched the scarves in our hands to make a nice flower shape with them.
今週は初めてのmusic lessonがありました。先生が自己紹介をしれくれた後、子供たちも一人一人おもちゃのマイクに向かって名前を言いました。カラフルなスカーフが配られて、ピアノの音に合わせてひらひらさせました！スカーフをくしゅくしゅと小さく丸めるとまるでお花のようでした。
